Body-Builder For Anyone Trying To Gain Weight
15 fl oz whole milk
5 oz live yoghurt
1 banana, peeled
1 dessertspoon molasses
1 dessertspoon honey
1 dessertspoon tahini
1 dessertspoon wheatgerm
1 dessertspoon brewers yeast
4 fresh dates, stoned
Puree the dates in the blender, then add all the other ingredients. Drink half in the morning, keep the rest in the fridge till evening.
The world appears to be full of people trying to lose weight, but for the permanently skinny life can be miserable.
They won't go to the gym, the swimming pool or on beach holidays. They usually try stuffing themselves on unhealthy high fat foods when what they really need is to eat lots of small meals a day including plenty of high calorie, low bulk foods like the ingredients in this super shake. When I offered a weight gain recipe in a national newspaper recently, we had 15,000 requests!

3 tangerines, satsumas or clementines, peeled
˝ pineapple, sliced with skin
4 oz blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 banana
carton live yogurt
1 dessertspoon runny honey
10 drops herbal extract of Echinacea
Juice the tangerines, pineapple and blueberries. Then put in a blender with banana, yogurt, honey and Echinacea.
A great immune booster at any time but especially for children at the during the demanding summer term.
Try to give them a couple of glasses a week for protection against bacteria and viruses and to help keep them illness-free and ready to enjoy the summer holidays when they come.
Super rich in vitamin C, bioflavonoids, potassium, beneficial live bacteria and healthy calories. The dark coloured pigments in blueberries give a healthy boost to the body's own natural defences as well as protection against some cancers.
